my condolences J. D.
they say that it's hell on a parent to lose a child. IMHO it's hell either way.
Life is so short...Sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Alzheimer is wicked. I know what you have been going through as my father also went that way. You have had a tough five years. May peace be with you and your family.

My condolences also, JD.
Lost my Mom to a heart attack when she was 49 back in 1974. My Dad's suffered Parkinson's for over a decade now and survived cancer twice this past year, and radiation treatment, but is still mentally sharp at 87.
Who knows how long we get, or how it's going to be at the end?
Brad
Sorry JD, that is tough news...
Prayers headed your way from central Georgia.
> After a 5 year, uphill and losing battle with Alzheimers, my Dad, Richard Juelson, passed away yesterday at 5:00. We knew he was going, and are happy that he went peacefully in his sleep. His brother and one of his sisters managed to come up and see him before he died. I will post his full obit when mom and I get it put together.:-(

Sorry to hear that, JD. Alzheimer's sucks. I know that 5 years was hard. May he rest in peace.
Thank you.

Alzheimers is tough on everyone involved. And for family members, the end is a mixed bag of emotions of sadness, grief, relief, and a bit of guilt for being relieved that it's finally over. My grandfather went similarly over a few years. Back then they just called it senility.
You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers that you have peace knowing that your dad is now at peace.
