saw the Velodyne site, just wondering why only the Puck VLP16 has a price tag?
also wondering how you orient such sensor to GPS control points?

Shelby,
I saw several of these on a site I was surveying this morning. I assume drone targets? Someone had experience enough to blacken the pavement around the white targets.

We use those as MLS targets. But have used as drone targets also. Just takes too long too paint for drone work. We just put down 4 BMs and then 1 GCP per hectar. We just use corex boards as drone targets

Bruce, obviously some sort of target for mapping, not sure if it is for a drone or not, pretty small for conventional aircraft.
