I take it they want to drive the last few away.

Could not get in the other day, then could not access posts, then after that I out of blue got a "chat room" email, as Keith W had made a comment to some one in the chat room that was not related to me.
Still sad that the once buzzing board has almost ground to a halt.

No sadness here. "The cream of the crop rises to the top" Their death and dismemberment led to the birth of beerleg. I held on for so long over their out of some misguided loyalty but I soon realized no-one on the admin side give a shat about anything other than bubble esk social media craze and corporate sponsorship...., whereas here; it's like a down home family vibe that tolerates and accepts indifferent opinions and views. This place is definitely more of a professional industry wide forum that pushes openness, educational inspired opinions, and cutting edge peer support on the latest and greatest happenings of our profession.
Good lordy..... Tonight was a "Beerleague" esk softball night and I guess I get a bit wordy when its a good night.
Double cheers.;-)
PS. Wendell I got one by ya. Guess you need to ad shat to your list on no-no's:-P
Good catch on the sh_exclamation point_t though, that was my first choice...denied.:-D
I gave up on that site when they changed the interface a couple years ago. I tried, but sometimes it's not worth the effort to spend time to re-invent a perfectly good product. Kinda reminds me of most software "upgrades". Just because it's an upgrade does not mean it is better.
But just like a good marketplace should provide, up steps Wendell and beerlegs.com. Gotta hand it to them. It just took me a bit to get back at it.
Kudos to SurveyorConnect and Wendell Harness, et al.

I got a similar email and then could not get site navigation to work properly. I have only been on site there about twice in the last 3 months.
I got the same post, I didn't go.
ditto,
I was stupid enough to go check it out.
Nothing happening.
I also gave up on RPLS when they made the switch, and didn't seem to care about the lost functionality of the site. Primarily, slow load times and a cumbersome interface made it impractical. Every once in a while I go to that site to look up an old post. What I noticed most recently is that the load times seemed to have improved considerably. Still, it is not a great interface, and I'm inclined to stay here.

I called that

I've looked for old posts as well and found that some of the best posts in some of the most educational threads had been truncated to include only the first couple of paragraphs. That kind of takes the usefulness out of the archives.
She was warned.:-)

Ditto to the ditto.
