Two construction zone signs this morning on Interstate-10 near Banning, California:
55 mph all vehicels.
55 mph all vehicals.
At least they are more or less in English.
My favorite remains a hand-painted sign on the site of the old Goodyear facility in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles, spotted when we were working on the site during demo almost 30 years ago: "It will be no dumpin!"
A further enhancement was the fact that the sign was posted atop a huge trash heap that had obviously been subject to quite a bit of "dumpin."
Seen this sign "Go Home Greengo." Painted in green spray paint.

Maybe it was a protest toward ecoterrorism.
I've been through Beaumont, and Banning.
Did you ever hurt yourself diving past that sign? It appears to offer a rough landing.

Beats getting shot for criticizing their spelling. 🙂
The Hoffman clan from that "Gold Rush" show appear to be as inept, unprepared and clueless as possible, year after year. It can't all be bad luck, sex me.
I caught a glimpse of something that might be a clue, to that constant ineptitude. In a recent show where a "package" was produced that provided some background and details of their "real job" as owners and operators of a small private airport in Oregon. In the video, one could see a sign that had been painted on a structure advertising for rental space at the airport.
It read: "HANGERS FOR RENT".

That seems to be the M O for a lot of these "reality" shows. That family of Browns on the Alaska Bush People seem to be about the worst equipped and unprepared bunch they could find to start "roughing it" on their own.
The barbarians always win eventually.
I do not expect Û÷historyÛª to be anything but a Û÷long defeatÛªÛÓ though it contains (and in legend may contain more clearly and movingly) some samples or glimpses of final victoryÛ
