Dang, just about had all the snow gone for the spring, and now we're getting dumped on! Anchorage to see 4-10 inches, more at higher elevations and in the valley. Already took the plow off, but at least the snow blower hasn't been put away yet.

The 1 - 3" that we were supposed to get ended up little mre than a dusting and that is all gone now. Most folks down here had already Summerised their snowblowers. Here's hoping the best for our more Northern neighbors.
bummer...I kinda got used to the warm spring summer autumn weather the last few weeks...be back in the frozen north in a couple days.
It's snowing here also on and off, but I wouldn't call it the frozen north. More like the wet and sloppy north. The snow is mixed with rain, temperatures are either just below or just above freezing and there is mud everywhere. The road salt is eating my truck and the frost heaves are trashing the suspension.
I hate this time of year.
Looked a lot like snow here today
Pretty darned nice day actually. That is, until we ran into hard rain on our way home from a trip to Kansas City. Reached a point about 15 miles north of my house when it looked like snow everywhere. It was hail. Lots of it. Coated the road shoulders and building roofs. About two miles later we were out of it completely. Had not rained a drop at our house.
Exact Opposite here in Perth
Mid Autumn and the temp got to 100
This is ridiculous. Need some cool weather soon.
Cheers

2-5" for Watford City today, boo on winter!
We're supposed to get a few inches here in Northern AZ today - not too unusual, I've seen several inches in June.
It ain't here in Missi'ppi!
My pear trees have dropped their flowering petals and are working toward establishing new leaves with the rest of the local forest trees. It has been a couple of weeks since our last frost, so everything is " greening" up around northeast Mississippi. It was in the mid-70's yesterday, but we have had long rains, lasting days, coupled sometimes with high winds. The say that if you don't like the weather in Mississippi, just wait a few hours! So true. It is muddy, wet, and warm here, now. Everything is coated with yellow pine tree pollen, including my boots and instrument screens. Spring morphs into summer very quickly around here, and it will be another long, hot summer with temps in the 90's and some weeks over 100. I can handle the high humidity cold with chill factors below zero better than I can handle temps over 100 with no wind and high humidity conditions. Ah, the outdoors! I have already seen my first cottonmouth and crawling ticks. I have two days of sunshine and two days of rain coming this week. Friday is going to be mud boots day again.
Its coming down here. We're to get up to 10". SWMBO is driving up from the south this evening and I got my fingers crossed that she gets through it before it gets real bad. Hopefully she can leave early.
Got a foot and half over the weekend and another foot's on the way. Going to be some spectacular Spring skiing! Bring it on baby!
Never should have taken the plow off!!
At least I didn't put the snowblower away!

Never should have taken the plow off!!
So it's all your fault. I KNEW someone was responsible.
