When I got home tonight, I had a thin lettter waiting for me from DORA, the Colorado Board. Apparently there was a screw up in the grading software because I passed!
To those of you still waiting for the exam results, I know what you're going through. Hang in there! I hope your letter is as positive of mine.

Congrats from me also.
Andy,
At least you got to read yours. My wife told me over the phone. At the time she was in Texas and I was in California looking for work. I found out Mar 1, 1987.
Well done Ian.
Congratulations, Ian. It is a good feeling, isn't it.....:-D

Things are sure changing fast in our profession.....learn all you can and stay diversified. :star:
Thanks, all!
I was really sweating this one. The Colorado exam is multiple choice, but it's the best example of a multiple choice exam I've seen for a professional licensing exam. My hat's off to the Colorado Board for their work.
To a few of you, I should point out that I have been licensed in California since 1993 and am currently licensed in California, Nevada and Colorado. Based on projects and company presence, Utah and Arizona are next on the list.
🙂
Way to go, Ian! Does that mean you'll be coming to Salt Lake to take the Utah exam? Let me know when you're in town. You've got a place to stay, for sure!
JBS
Thanks, John! It sure does! And I wouldn't pass up an opportunity to get together with you and Becky.
I'll call you later this week to discuss Utah, exams, life in general and such...

What's wrong with Washington and Oregon, the rest of the left coast? 😉
Keep up the good work! 🙂

What he said! :'(
Not a thing. Our Corporate Office is in Portland and the company is loaded with licenses in Washington and Oregon.
At the risk of becoming a paperhanger, at some point, I'd like to complete the West Coast, though.
Keep in mind that those licenses need renewing and many states have mandatory continuing education requirements. Although I currently have about 120 hours of CEUs over the past 24 months, it does get costly.
