Greetings,
Just a quick announcement to say that some new policies regarding posting and profile editing have been implemented in an attempt to thwart would-be spammers. If you haven't noticed, we've been getting hit pretty hard and some were getting through the system's built-in spam prevention settings. As it turns out, the latest spammers are actually humans, not bots, so they can get around some of the automated systems.
One of the most recent changes we made was to stop allowing links to be posted until a new user has posted 3 posts without links. This policy is still in place, but we've added a bunch more. I won't get into all the details, but if you are new here and you have a problem creating a post with a link in it, or a new thread, or updating your profile, it's probably because you haven't been here long enough, and thus haven't posted enough yet. Don't worry, the restrictions really aren't that bad, all you have to do is participate a few times and you are in.
Thanks for understanding.

(They'll have to pry that blue can out of my cold dead fingers) 😛
I find that to be in very poor taste... but some do like the taste of Spam 😉 ... we saw Spam dishes featured in a couple home style restaurants in Hawaii last week, yuck.

sorry for so much manual labor... thanks Wendell
And why spam?? If you stop and consider this for a bit, and ponder the extent of the human diet, wouldn't celery be a more apt description ?

I think I owe my life to spam (long story)
:good:
Go to youtube, and watch the Monte Python video on spam. I'm on the android, so I don't know how to post links, or URL's.
Spam Spam Spam.

We have to stand up for Spam, it has been instrumental in the development of this great nation, and we must repel usurpation by the forces of organo-marcobiotic-etc-fad diet instigators! Monty Python had it right: "Spam spam spam spam spam lovely spam!"
Huzzah!
Ain't that the truth...I couldn't believe it when the walmart in Honolulu had one full aisle dedicated to Spam of all types!! There must have been 40 different kinds of flavors, meats, etc... crazy spam. :woot:
At least they dont have Monty Python's other favourite - Rat
Rat pie, rat soup, rat on toast, rat & chips, ratatouille...

Don't forget the strawberry tart. Well, it does have some rat in it. Three in fact. Rather a lot, really...
Yeah, I don't think the link to the Spam skit was necessary for me. I could probably recite it at any moment. I watched the Pythons a LOT while in college. ...and after...
"tis but a flesh wound!
If my memory serves me correctly, they say the word "SPAM" 93 times in that song...
The only superior evidence is that which you haven't yet found.

Is that counting the fade in and fade out "spams"?

SPAM is second only to pineapple on my list of Foods of the Gods! I've seen it on the menu at some of the finest restaurants on several of the islands...
Now that I can't get it off my mind I'm going to have to pick some up on the way home from work!
Chopped Bacon Spam or Chopped Chorrizo Spam fried crispy, add spoonful of butter and scramble eggs and spread grated cheese over it with biscuits or toast are among my favorite quick breakfast meals.
