A new year is here and along with it comes a new round of updates here at RPLS Today. I wasn't planning on installing these until this weekend, but we felt comfortable with the updates sooner than expected. So, here's a summary of the updated features and bug fixes.

Recent Posts Page
The Recent Posts page has been updated to show the latest posts sorted by topic. So, essentially, it is more of a Latest Topics page with previews of a few posts in each updated topic (much like the Extended Forum layout used on the main Community page). I think this is a much better solution than a simple list of latest topics, because it gives you a little bit of insight into each one. A bit of a hybrid, if you will.
I may rename this page to Recent Topics or Latest Topics. I haven't decided yet, since technically it seems to satisfy both.
You'll now notice a new selector for font size in the Post Editor. I used it for the titles in this list.

Redesigned Login, Sign-Up & Reset Password Pages

User Mentioning Improvements
Phase II of the User Mentions feature... it's now a little smarter and knows when to ignore punctuation at the end.

You'll notice that your avatar is now sync'd with the navigation menu.

Under The Hood Improvements & Fixes
We've squashed a whole bunch of bugs behind the scenes and made some improvements throughout. I cannot promise that we squashed all the bugs but we sure got a lot of them.
I'd love to hear from the iPhone users to see if they have improved functionality. These dastardly bugs kept popping up every time we thought we'd found and fixed the problem. But it just goes to show you that bugs do indeed love apples. 😉 Seriously though, I'm not 100% sure that we fixed all the iPhone issues, so please clear your caches TWICE and let me know how it goes.?ÿ http://www.refreshyourcache.com
I noticed the changes on Chrome right away and I like what I see.?ÿ One minor annoyance....the last line of each post preview where it shows the time since the post and the poster's name is only showing the first five characters of the poster's name.?ÿ It's almost like the template needs a bit of extra width there to accommodate the remainder of the name.?ÿ?ÿ

So far, it seems that the iPhone bug(s) haven't been completely killed yet, though. I've had a couple of folks email to say it's working for them and a few others who say it's still not working, so we'll keep troubleshooting! Or you could just buy an Android.... hahaha j/k 😀

Cleared my cache on my iPhone, latest iOS,, still cannot click ?ÿ??like? button..
