You can cancel your subscription and start a new one. I created a "Senior Party Chief" subscription on the Donate page at $30/month.

Thank you, Roadhand, and everyone else who has donated so far. We appreciate it more than I can type! 🙂

Done. No reward necessary. The site is reward enough.

I'm very sorry about your dad.

THANK YOU to everyone who has donated thus far. I haven't done an official tally at this point but will provide an update in a week or so. The plan is to unsticky this topic after Monday night, then sticky it again each Sunday night through Monday night until our anniversary date. I'll provide a total amount donated starting with next week's restickification.

A few people have asked to keep their donations anonymous and I would like to stress that they will indeed be kept confidential unless requested otherwise.

Again, THANK YOU for your support!

i felt half bad by all the posts here stating "oh wendell, keep the swag, the site is reward enough"
the site is awesome but i like 'free swag'

i also like using the word swag.

good luck with the goal, and seriously $7.25 an hour? are your trying to entice surveyors from their careers with these numbers?

Challenge-Wendell and angel don't look

You know, I look in on this site at least once a day if for nothing else just the hell of it. I read way more than i post. One thing that is quite noticeable is that every single one of you have an opinion that you believe is right and sometimes you agree and other times you don't. One thing that everybody does seem to agree on is that you get what you pay for and low ballers are frowned upon. So if you enjoy this site you should donate AT LEAST 10 bucks per month if not more. If you want free, there are options, but remember you get what you pay for.

Two words: 'free swag'

I would be more inclined to become a regular paying, card carrying member if there were cards and swag. My donation to surveyor connect would have been less if it had not been for the t-shirt. I'm cheap and the incentive made me give more.

As I was putting away the laundry this morning I noticed that my T-shirt supply is running low. I just PayPal'd my order for one from SurveyorConnect!

And...I like mailing out the "Swag". 😀

I just feel so bad...I haven't been able to do much regarding that lately due to all of our relatives illnesses and deaths!! Since December we have been running to hospitals, doctors appointments, pharmacies, chemo treatments, urgent cares, etc... you name it. No wonder I am tired today. o.O

I DO keep a detailed list of who I owe stuff to for donations, etc...etc... but every time I try to sit down and prepare my thank yous and my packages, I always have something come up. If you saw how I prepared everything, you'd understand what I mean. A lot of work goes into what I do for thank yous and packages; sometimes it takes me 2 days to get stuff prepped and prepared. I guess I could just slop something together but then that wouldn't be me. :-$

Anyhow, as soon as I get back from taking grandpas ashes down to his family, I will start working on these things. Give me 3 weeks or so...I need some time to recoup and time with my mom and loved ones.

No rush at all and I hope that my excitement did not translate to impatience. I get excited when I am expecting something in the mail and you certainly have more important things than sending swag.

*clink-clink-clink*

Wendell and Angel,

There is my meager tip tossed into the tip jar. Do not worry about sending anything in return. Focus on keeping this site great. 🙂

I just wish I could send donations at a more regular interval...

Carl

Question: How many different individuals have ever contributed money to the cause?

100 people?

200 people?

Maybe 100 different individuals? Over the years, there are many that have sent more than one donation though.

BeerAid ~ a little simple math

> Maybe 100 different individuals? ...

Okay, so if each of us 100 donors contributed $110 each year, then we would raise about $11,000.

I am glad to see that this is stickied(sp?) again.

I guess this means that we are falling short of our goal.

Wendell, where do we stand on the latest fundraising efforts?

Brad
