We've been working for the last few months with a prominent organization that represents real estate professionals throughout the United States to bring some great improvements and new features to RPLS Today. This integration will allow us to bring together two great types of professionals that have an interesting history of working well together: Land Surveyors and Real Estate Agents.
Today, I'm proud to announce RPLS Today's new partnership with the Licensed Institute of American Realtors! In the coming months, we'll be merging the two organizations, including the websites, into one organization to better serve Land Surveyors and Realtors. Yes, we'll be changing the website format once again, but this time it will be much better because we'll be able to bring Realtors into the overall scope of our website. We know that Land Surveyors appreciate the amazing services and respect that Realtors have for surveyors in general, so it just makes sense that we incorporate both into one great website.
Soon, you'll notice that the forum areas will change from surveying-based titles to a more Realtor-focused format. But don't worry, we'll be sure to have some sub-topic areas for your surveying discussions. They will likely be located a few levels under the primary Realtor forums, but rest assured they'll still be available. Your previous surveying discussions will be transferred into the new sub-level surveying areas, except for the discussions that were derogatory toward Realtors -- those will be permanently deleted.
We're also going to change the website name a little bit to accommodate our new Realtor friends. Instead of RPLS Today, the new name will be RPALS Today -- this not only points out that Realtors and Land Surveyors are pals, but it changes the acronym to mean Realtor Professionals And Land Surveyors. This is a pretty great way to honor Realtors and our new association into their realm.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reply here or send emails to questions@rpalstoday.com. Thank you!
