Trimble sx12 is worth?

I love mine.  I upgraded from the S7 and the biggest hesitation I had was not having the eyepiece to look through, but I actually like it better without after using it for a year now.  Camera is phenomenal so anything you need to shoot direct I can sit in the truck and do instead of behind the gun.  

that being said, my scanning workload is not substantial and often only used for ”just in case I need to extract something later” situations. If you’re already collecting scan files with other scanners, the SX10/12 are still great to replace your conventional total stations considering they are 1” guns also. Great for scans that would be quick additions while you’re already setup.  

I got mine for about 25k used.

Also the EDM is higher accuracy than an ordinary S series at 1.0 mm + 1.5 ppm to a Prism
