So we're getting into scanning and just landed our first job with a friend of mine who owns a theater that is being renovated. We have time and some leeway on this since he is a friend of mine. We're renting a Faro Focus 3D for the job. I've taken a bunch of courses in scanning and I'm pretty up to date and familiar with the technology.

At this point I'm looking for someone who has a good amount of scanning experience that I can talk to and ask some to the point business and a few technical questions about scanning. I'd prefer to call you but e-mail will work too. If you are interested in talking please shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] (remove the dots).

If anyone has any advice, do's and don'ts, etc feel free to post them up!

Thanks in advance!!
Tom

Tom, I hate to see someone's post just sit there with no response. We have been scanning for three years now but I'm pretty sure I haven't gotten my ROI yet so I can't really help you with any "success" stories or grand pearls of wisdom. You are
doing the first thing right- renting instead of buying. Keep plugging away at it.
Good luck, Alan
