I've been doing lot's of BIM projects this past 6 months. Seems BIM is now where Machine control guidance system were 10 years ago. Contractors building footers, interior walls, HVAC all starting to use BIM now.
I figured a way to make this real simple on my clients. I am able to bring in the PDF plan as a back ground map and overlay this on the CAD lines to see all this information in the field controller.
