Hi all. I am no surveyor but over the years I have bought several transits. I have always thought they are cool. No i am not an "Up cycler" who repurposes things into in my opinion "Crap". I like to keep things original and in good working condition which is why I came here. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. If a collector, I can only assume you have the manuals to properly maintain the items in your collection. There are those on this forum that have the occasional question regarding the maintenance and/or operation of some of the more antiqued survey instruments.
