I’m a new member from Central New York. I have over 10+ years of surveying experience with both consultant engineering firms as well as small boundary firms. I currently work for the DOT and have passed my FS and PS and am sitting for the State exam in a month. Looking forward to gaining and providing valuable insights on here.

Welcome to the forum. I appreciate your picture of Colvin measuring an ice baseline on Raquette Lake. We (the Colvin Crew) retraced that baseline a number of years ago and found among many other points the northern terminus. The point they are set up in the pic was not recovered though. PM me if you want to read our report.
