Hi, my name is Alin, I moved to the U.S.(Chicago, IL) a little over 10 years ago. I have since been working in land surveying (with minor interruptions) and I am currently two semesters away from obtaining a BS with a minor in LS from Purdue University. The more I study this science, the more I'm liking it. The downside to studying something however is realizing how little you know. (at least in my case). I'm hoping to find new information on this forum which will make a better professional.
Thanks for letting me join!

Welcome Alin
You can obtain a lot of BS here also, but there is a lot of good information mixed in with it. 🙂

Welcome to the neighborhood.
It's better to realize how little you know for yourself, than for everyone else to realize it for you! 😉
You'll find this place is a tremendous resource.
Cheers!

Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get me.

Welcome Alin M. I'm certain you are not the only person I know named Alin whose last name starts with M as well. That coincidence leaped at me immediately.

Now, the odd coinkydink. Yesterday a fellow from my neighborhood showed up at my doorstep. He is in need of a survey to assist in building a fence between his land and that of Alin M. and his father. I will meet with him this afternoon. Maybe we will bump into Alin M.
