Hello all,
My name is Fernando de Vidania and am the 4th generation of Land Surveyor in my family. I studied in the Canary Islands but then I moved to work at one of the largest survey company in Calgary for four years. A year ago I moved back to the Canaries and am living the life with my family.
I??m always looking forward to learn about new equipment and techniques.
Cheers!
Fernando
Welcome. You can be the new Hurricane forecaster for us Florida folks. 🙂
Welcome aboard!
Welcome aboard, friend.
HI Fernando, The Canary Islands look like a beautiful place to survey! What kind of surveying do you do the most ? Welcome to the board 🙂

Need any help?
Howdy Fernando, glad you found the site.
I'd trade all of Canada for life there too........
Welcome. Add as much as you take.
Well, thank you all!
I??m actually working as Land Surveyor contractor, doing everything and anything 😉 Cadastral surveys, Legal surveys, civil surveys...things here are very different, you always have to be ready on anything you get. One day I??m working by the beach doing some legal surveys and next day I??m surveying a BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) line.

I think those islands are a bit too far away to make that idea effective.

Actually, he is kinda right, most of the hurricanes start between the Canary Islands and Cape Verde.

Dang, and all this time I thought the Canary Islands were in the Aegean Sea. 😉
BTY: If you ever visit the Canary Islands this is a nice place to stay.
