Hello from NH!, There seems to be a forum for everything these days, its great! I found this one searching for the answer to a rather stupid question....I am looking for some control for a house lot, I have some points on my CAD file labeled ECSB, Im assuming these are stone bounds however I am not having much luck locating them in the field. Can anyone tell me what ECSB stands for? So I can confirm I am heading in the right direction. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Welcome. You will find this to be a wonderful place to spend some time. I don't believe I have ever encountered ECSB on a survey plat. An extremely simple guess is that it stands for Existing Corner Stone Bound. Are there other combinations such as ECIP for an iron pipe or SCIB for Set Corner Iron Bar? I have seen the letter E used to represent Existing and used in opposition to S being used for Set.

The BLM's Glossary has "EC Station". (ECS?), but no ECSB.
There any other notations that might help decipher the plat?

Perhaps if you took a photo of some or all of it and posted it, someone here could help.

Or just call whoever created the drawing you're looking at, and ask them.

Howdy RNGcon.

The ability of note keepers to constantly make stuff up and never define their own madness will never cease to amaze me.

If you were in Mass it would stand for Essex County Stone bound. You might even see ECSB-BCE...Essex County Stone bound back center edge.

Hi everyone.
I'm Argi Castro from Spain and it ' s my first time in the foro.
I'm a SOKKIA GSR2700ISX owner and I've just got them wromg. Firrstly the Base antena was down because It wasn't able to achieve the OK status, "GPS OK" . The lights begin the secuency but they return to the beginning several times, and a red light is on the main switch. The day after it was my rover unit that began to do the same too. So that I've lost both, and the TOPCON-SOKKIA service in Spain says that it's the end of my GPS equipe, bacause of t he costs of reparation. It seems to be a "programmed die ''.

Well, has anybody idea about this problem?. I should be very gratefull to hear about.
About the distance to get FIXED status for rover unit my experience is that it's able to get signal from base more than 6 Km (in good conditions), with normal antenna. I've set my UHF emission to 1 watt. Is it possible for you to set it in that leve!??

Thanks in advance for everyone.
