It had been awhile since I downloaded a RINEX file from a CORS site, using OPUS instead as the primary means of connecting to them, but I see that the RINEX file that the NGS CORS server now delivers with the "GPS Only" option checked contains L5 observations and a few other types.

11 L1 L2 L5 C1 P1 C2 P2 C5 S1# / TYPES OF OBSERV

Does anyone know an easy way to window out the observations to generate a file in RINEX 2.10 format with the following observation types? I'm still looking at the teqc documentation, thanks.

I'm probably not holding my mouth just right. The Windows interface locks up in XP Pro.
However, if there are teqc commands that will enable converting a RINEX file to Ver. 2.10, I'm suddenly encouraged.

I'll be fine once I find the danged command that I need to just rewrite a RINEX 2.20 file as a 2.10 file. :>
Aha. Per the FAQ:
>You can still get just the observables you want by now executing:
>teqc -O.obs l1+l2+ca+p2+p1 temp.97o > foobar.97o
Be Careful
and make sure any C2 observations are relabeled P2.
I have not yet verified how the conversions work.
I do know OPUS-RS accepts the C1 observable as P1 and should accept the C2 as P2, but your software may be different. I have yet to verify that it accepts C1 & P1 if some of each are submitted.
What I do not like about the 11 observables is that it takes 3 lines per satellite and currently has too many blank spaces.
Eventually some satellites will broadcast a C1 observable, currently what is called C1 is CA.

Kent,
I am sorry that it was locking up. I know that it's been awhile since you were looking for help but I'd like to see what I can do about the program not working on your machine. if you don't mind, would you p[lease send me a screen shot of the error? And I'd be happy to run the file in question through the software to make sure that it does what you need.
Please feel free to holler at me if you need anything. [email protected]
If there is a function that you need, I'll do what I can to incorporate it into the software.
comments and suggestions are very welcome.
