Long time name brand user wants to know the pros and cons from buying the name brand GNSS vs the off brand?

would you buy the SP80 or the Zenith35 Pro or their name brand counterpart

or would you buy the Javad LS

R10 and the LS are both great! I have been yellow my whole career and love Trimble products. But if I were solo or starting from a clean slate I would go LS.?ÿ

since you are a long term name brand. Does your processing software and data collector also accept other brands? if you change brands, how much rework for your workflow do you have to do?

There are so many choices out there these days that it can overwhelm the senses.

MOST (if not all) of them would be good choices, but a dollar is a dollar (or at least used to be).?ÿ

Personally, I'd buy a set of iG8(s) and never look back.

Loyal brand user (Wild, Leica, Hexagon) and operate a RTK base broadcasting corrections to a static ip since 2001.?ÿ We now broadcast RTCM3x MSM4 which should be compatible with most receivers.?ÿ GNSS processing software and Data Collector is proprietary but can collect and process Rinex.?ÿ I have confidence in the 99.9% touted with the name brand equipment.?ÿ

How do the Zenith35 Pro's stack up to Leica GS16's.

How do SP80's stack up to Trimble's equipment

And, how many of the above both track AND use the different signals in their solutions?

?ÿ
