I have a Trimble GeoXR with Access 2013, I can find no nmea settings of any kind, I want to output nmea to my utility locator on bluetooth. I have been doing this with a Geo XH and terrasync no problem. I used to have a TSC3 with Access 2017 and I swear I had nmea settings to choose the port and the sentences I wanted. My Trimble dealer wants $1200 for the access updates and I sure would hate to pay out and find no change because access is not the problem and it is the XR was never designed to output nmea in the first place. I was switched around to a few people but nobody knew anything about the XR model or really old versions of access. Thanks for any leads.
I'm pretty sure NMEA out options were added to the Survey Style menu in Access 2015. This is EXACTLY the reason why you purchase annual software maintenance.
thanks i needed to know what version or so that they got added, so now I will pay for the updates and the only thing that would burn me is that nmea can't go out over bluetooth.
Thanks
I was thinking the same thing... I don't know enough about the GeoXR to be able to say with 100% confidence that it will work.
Well no dice on the GeoXR for nmea output via bluetooth, after I did the upgrade (which is only access to 2017) I now have nmea output listed in survey styles but it only can be output on the usb serial port. I may attach a serial bluetooth converter to get me where I want to be. I tried one tonight but got no output so I need to add in a null cable between the unit and it should work lol?ÿ
