I have 3 Topcon Hiper Lite+ units, 1 as base and 2 rovers. A?ÿ week ago I could not receive corrections on either of the rovers. I believe the base radio to be the problem. I would like to change 1 of my rovers to a base so I have at least a working set and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

Topcon receiver utilities will let you see the options activated in each unit. You can confirm the proper OAFs are installed to do this. ?ÿIf so TRU can also switch the receivers from rover to base. ?ÿIf running Magnet Field you can also do it in that program.

When I?ÿ bought the first 2 units, they were already set up. The original owner did send a couple of CDs but I think they were for Windows XP. I'll have to see if I can find a working computer in the garage.?ÿ

As Russ, mentioned you can use TRU, Magnet Field or on those CD's you may find TPS-modem. Some older model Hipers will not work with TRU.

What software are you suing on the controller?

If you get stuck and need assistance, I suggest contacting your Topcon dealer or a friend?ÿfamiliar with the Hipers.

I had Topcon Hiper Lite receivers for many years. Mine were 2002 era receivers, and performed well. I was able to use either PCCDU or TRU with those receivers. Hopefully this will be helpful.
