It may be firmware date related,, Topcon says "End of Life" and wants us to throw them away and spend for new. But Topcon can kiss my ......?ÿ I have my old Hiper GGD's and all but one (of 4)?ÿ old Legacy-e receivers gathering files. It appears the 'windows' file date is 1999 when downloaded,?ÿ BUT, the Data 'in' the file has the correct date. I am trying to get time to set up and see if they work RTK, but I have heard the roll-over is not going to have a 'big' effect on RTK work. I sent a short file to OPUS-RS and it didn't kick it back, but was not enough SORS stations reporting back yet to process.?ÿ

You need to check what the board in the receivers are. Alot of the Hiper models use the board HGGDT.

My Hiper+ is marked end of life but it has the HGGDT board. I was able to upload the firmware and it is working fine.

You can find all the information here : www.gpsrollover.com

Also here is the link with how to update them, and how to check which board version they have.  You will have to create a logon with them to view it.

i tried but it requires a registration of the product, which i cant find in the database of the site (neither with serial number or manually selecting the model). The model is Hiper gdd and the firmware is end of life? So my question is : is there a way to make it work properly without buying new receivers ?

I updated mine a few days ago and did not have to register. Tested today between thunderstorms and worked fine. Ran a rapid static session and will upload Monday to check. Fingers crossed
