Hello everyone,

I have an interesting issue, I's using a Trimble R8 with with an internal GSM radio (No sim in there). My Collector is a TSC2 with Survey Controller 12.49.

Firstly, I usually connect this with an AT&T Mobile Hotspot over wifi and never have issues with NYSNet. I also have a Local RTK network that i use, works the same way.

Now, I came across a T-Mobile SIM card and decided to put it in the Antenna because want to use the hotspot for something else. When i connect to my Local RTK network via the modem in the antenna, i see all my mountpoints and go to work like nothing has changed.

Here is the issue: When i connect to NYSNet via the modem in the antenna, it calls in and says internet connection is established, but when i start my survey, the system hangs up on the "building source list" step and does nothing else.

I'm baffled because with the same login, ip, and port#, the rover can connect over wifi, but not via bluetooth... HELP?:-S

Sounds like your SIM card is NOT working.

You may be connecting to the network, but the card is NOT authorized to transmit or receive data.

Im going today to get the simcard replaced. I hope it does something different. After all, I did get it to work with the Local NTRIP Base Network via the T-mobile Simcard. I am beginning to think that it may be a compatibility issue of some kind between NYSNet and T-moblie? (makes no sense to me) I'll post again after i try the replacement card.
