Those words are the coordinates of my office. That is, the unique identifiers of one of the 57 trillion 3m by 3m squares that cover the earth. The people at what3wordshave developed a wonderful concept into a functioning system with huge potential benefits.
I think.
Don

The smoker's bench at my office is:

excuse me for reviving my own thread
Excuse me for reviving my own thread, but I think this idea is HUGE!
Everyone can have an address now. Everyone in the world!
Maybe I'm enthused because the County Surveyor in my county is responsible for house numbers and the system here is total crap.
You probably don't think a lot about your address, but I do.
Emergency services really like to know how to find any particular problem as soon as possible.
Maybe this can help, I don't know...I'm thinking about it still.
Hey, your property corners can have a name, right?
I'm thinking "pig.toe.fleming" has a sophisticated cachet for the NE corner of a tract, don't you think?
I' m not going to post anymore to this thread.
Promise.
Don
Has anyone figured out the basis of their translation algorithm? I guess I'd have to play with incrementing the coordinates and seeing what happened to the words.
