Just watched the launch live. GPS 2F-12 will be placed in slot F1, rounding out 2 2F satellites in each orbit. Previously GPS 2A (SVN 23) was deactivated. It was launched in 1990, unbelievable service.
Most of the 19 GPS IIRs or IIR-Ms are currently past their 7.5 year design lifeline.
The next phase GPS IIIs have a design life of 15 years.

And, they will last 30 yrs. UNLESS they put windows 10 in em, then they will crash when windows 11 comes along! (wink).
