Like Carlson SurvCE, Mircosurvey Fieldgenius provides no clean coordinate transformation routine. In Leica SmartWorx, users are presented with clear picture on transformation process between local system and WGS84. In SurvCE, the user has no idea if transformation parameters are taken in as "from WGS84" or "to WGS84" until he reads the manual. In Fieldgenius, I would think that it is also the case as I can't find any "from WGS84 / to WGS84" parameter in the manual.

Did I miss something?

They probably decided to take the shortcut that all transformations are defined as 'to WGS84'. In my experience, very few transformations are defined as from WGS84 (or ITRFxx) to a 'local' or plate-fixed geographic CRS.
