iƒ??ve noticed there has been some cellular talk on this channel lately so I thought Iƒ??d ask this question in case somebody can answer it. If there is another channel I should put this on please let me know.

I can find the RSRP and RSSI on a cell phone. Is there a way to find those numbers on a Sim card running on a data collectors like Trimble, Leica, and Topcon?

One of the weakest links in a real time network is the cellular connection especially in rural areas. When a user calls in to say they cannot connect I would like to know if their cell phone signal is good or bad. The strength and noise ratio from what I have read, are good indicators of signal interference and a weak signal.

If thereƒ??s another way to check spotty cellular coverage particularly on the data side, please let me know.?ÿ

This might not help, but on my android collector running Trimble Access on a TDC600 I use a program called Network Cell Info. I also have that on my cell phones.?ÿ
