Until yesterday everythink worked fine. Yesterday I tried to open my leica gps as usual but at startup it was requested from me to enter pin code for bluetooth device. I tried to cancel this with no result. I wrote a code 12345 and agfter that the bluetooth connection with my antenna not work any more. I don't know If this is the reason while the connection is not established.

I tried to go into the CInstrument confi/antenna and delete my antenna from the list and than load default so the antenna atx1230+ GNNS Pole was seen again. After that in the Interfaces / SMart Antenna sometimes SRCH found bloutooth, most of the time wrote "Antenna not found. Turn on." Can be BT problem of antennas or I messed up something while wrote a code which came from nothing at startup.

If I use a cable to antenna averything Works fine.

Thank you for any help you can give....

Bluetooth passcodes generally default either to 1234 or 0000. If you can get back to the passcode entry, you might try 0000 and see if that works.

The passcode is 0000

If you entered anything in the authentication request box besides 0000 you will have to blow out the connection in windows.

To do this:

  • Main menu and press Shift and then press Exit F6
  • Select Start from bottom left of the screen
  • go to settings/control panel
  • select Bluetooth. This menu might take a second to pop up
  • select the "Unknown device" in the "trusted devices" box and use the little arrow keys between the two boxes on the screen to move it to the untrusted device list.
  • once the unknown device is in the untrusted device list close all the open windows and open the program "Smartworxs"
  • The Authentication request box show pop up in a minute or so. Then Type 0000

This is from memory, but it should get you close. If your struggling please give me a call at my office 708-482-8888 and i can get you going in 5 minutes or so. I should also add that this will only work if your touch screen is working and calibrated.

Thanks

I forgot to mention the above steps will also fix the "Smart Antenna not found" problem as well.

hi

I have a Leica rx1250x GPS device whose touch controller isn't working anymore. To connect the controller to the antenna, I have entered the controller's PIN code incorrectly. I go to the Bluetooth menu in the Control Panel to redefine the antenna, but I cannot delete/edit it without the touch controller. Would you please help me reset the PIN code to be able to use the controller?
