It appears that the Ashtech ftp site has been taken down, does anyone know of a placed where the files still exist?

Sorry, I need to clarify, only the newer products are listed. The support files for the older products such as the Promark2's seem to have been removed.

I hope the above website helps. Trimble and Spectra Precision have done their damage.

You are supposed to go to the SpectraPrecision.com website and then click through to the correct device and then click on the support tab.

Once there you may (or may not) be able to download the file you seek.

For the past 10 years I have maintained a mirror site

http://www.ashgps.com&apos ;">www.ashgps.com

where you can click on the picture of a device and quickly be taken to a jump spot where (I believe) there is a direct link to the correct (latest) files. I also maintain copies of previous software releases. There is a picture of a mirror and if you click on it, you will find a simple directory structure from which you should be able to quickly navigate to any file you need. (I host the mirror on AWS and it is smoking fast.)

One other thing: I have a mail list where I post new firmware and software release notes. You can sign up [ http://ashgps.com/signup.htm&apos ;">here ]. I used to put pithy commentary on the mail list, however it has many subscribers at this point (thousands worldwide) and many are high-ranking-T-managers who it is in my best interest to not piss off. After a few threats (probably reasonable) I have limited the gossip and snide remarks so the mail list is formatted to no gather too much corporate attention.

However my [ https://ashgps.wordpress.com/&apos ;">blog ] is a personal space where I will viciously attack stuff in thinly veiled snippets.

If you find that anything is missing, please drop me a note and I will get it loaded up.

Mark
