This is the 5th edition of Surveying: Theory & Practice by Davis, Foote & Kelly copyrighted in 1966 for this edition. It was actually part of a library from a local surveyor who past a long time ago and I was able to aquire some of his reference material. Now its time to pass it on.
The acution will end Thursday, June 19 at 12 noon eastern std. time. The winning bidder will submit funds to @wendell in support of the RPLS.COM website. I only ask for shipping costs which should be minimal.

Wow, now that brings back a few memories. I was in college from 1961 to 1964 and used a previous edition. I think it was called just Davis & Foote. I no longer maintain a hard copy library of surveying books because I too am retiring but I recommend this book, it is a great reference.

That's the book I kept by the bedside for years. Can't find a better one on how surveying was done at the time.
