Alright folks, I’m selling some of my used total stations that I no longer am using. I will donate $100 for each total station I sell to beerleg.com. Up for grabs is:

Topcon GTS-700 Electronic Total Station

This is a 1” gun, very sturdy and accurate. When this gun was made it was the top of the line Topcon gun. This is a very solid gun, no cheap plastic, very durable. It has been the mainstay of my company since I started 5 years ago. I am asking $2200 for the gun, this includes free shipping and insurance to the lower 48. If the gun doesn't sell here its going on ebay.

This gun has built in data collection for those who don’t want to use an external data collector. The onboard data collection is unique to most Topcon total stations in that it is actually TDS Survey Pro software so if you’re used to the HP48 TDS format then this software will probably be familiar to you. I have not used the onboard data collection software which requires the use of a PCMCIA SRAM card to store the data. I have one of these cards, but when I was fiddling with it yesterday the card was not working. If you google “PCMCIA SRAM” you can see the type of card I am talking about. Here is a link to a place that sells the SRAM cards. You don’t need the card to run the software, just to store the point data and raw data.

Included with the GTS-700 is the following: Total Station w/tribrach, Instrument Case, 1 Handle Battery, 1 Battery Charger, 1 Lens Cap. I don’t know the condition of the Handle Battery, as I have always used an external Day Saver Battery to run the gun. I’ve attached a couple pictures of the gun and of the TDS software. This gun is about 15 years old, with age the LCD display is not as bright as it once was and sometimes can be hard to view.

My profile email works if you have questions.
