I have a Topcon Hiperlite+ Base & Rover system I get looking to sell. It comes with an FC200 with Topsurv installed. The Base Unit still holds a charge for about 4 hours but needs to be recelled. Also included are 2 hardware locks for Topcon Tools Post Processing software. To my knowledge everything has been updated as everything appears to be working properly. Have you tried receiving from a UHF base? I recall looking over the shoulder of a contractor with a Lite and he could see my XT base.
Batteries are an easy change. My face plates went and those were an easy change. I like the top con units and topsurv.
The static memory is unlocked but I'm not sure of the size. I don't think this model of hiper supported GSM. No external coax. connects with usb and serial. I've never tried connecting to and external base. I know that the base and rover and linked together through internal radio which is good for a mile or so. Mostly used the system to establish control is state plane.
