I have a SECO Robotics Backpack for sale. It was purchased new and has been used very little. I think I have used it on around 6 jobs, but it is probably 8 years old and does have some scratches on the frame and a bit of fading of the fabric. No tears and everything is functional.

Why am I selling? I really don't pack the Robot on large traverses anymore and the pack is a bit large for a standard instrument.

Retail new is $300.00. Looking to get half that ($150+shipping) or trade for a smaller top load in at least equal condition.

Thanks for looking,

Matt

Not to be flippant, but I bet the keys to my quad weigh less than that back pack. Plus I can carry my water, hammer, stakes, lunch, and even my lap top.

I guess that may be true in AZ, but here in VA I would be hating life without my backpack. It is frequently impossible to find a path big enough to get a quad through. I tried one of those cheaper packs, but I eventually bought one like the one shown. It has several pouches, so I can carry papers, batteries, water and lunch. Also, the metal external frame keeps the thing from tipping over. I have been very happy with mine, even though it was pretty expensive.

Wayne,

I have a well equipped quad as well that get's used anytime it can. Just can't get it everywhere...

DJ,

I am going to a pack that will just house the gun and looking into a nice field bag for all the miscellaneous stuff for recon and traversing, as many times I recon ahead of the traverse. Also trying to lighten the load on my back...

Thanks for the input,

Matt

Here are a couple more ATV pics mmm184...

Crossover tool box on the rear will fit a mini pickup and I can carry all traversing equipment in the boxes and side rack, instrument on the back.

The ATV was by far the most beneficial piece of equipment put into service for rural work.

We do the same type of work here in the middle of nowhere...our Polaris Ranger is too big for certain applications...might look into a rig like yours...thanks for sharing the photos.
