I have several "Pipe Mic" tools for sale. These are handy devices that attach to the bottom end of your level rod. They make it easy to get invert measurements on recessed pipes in manholes.
I have 4 slightly used "Pipe Mic" models, and 5 brand new "Pipe Mic II" models. They are exactly the same, but the "Pipe Mic II" models are slightly lighter.
These are extras that our company is getting rid of from when we used to run more crews.

$125 for the new unused ones.

That's an attractive price. If I didn't already own one, I'd spring for it.
I'll take the new one. You can contact me at Larry at LAStevensInc.com or my phone number at 415-382-7713.
Thank you,
Larry

What's you complete email address?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the pipe mic II has small cutouts at the bottom for the screws at the base of the rod. You need to use a crain SVR rod in order for it to be accurate. I've found the new II model to be much more accurate than the older model.
I meant to add that you should include $15 for postage.

If so, I can't find the differences. I just looked at the instructions that was still with one of the new ones, and it said it s Crain SVR and USL rods.
Jon, received in perfect condition. Thanks!

I don't see any cutouts in either. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place. They appear identical except for the older ones having a more squarish construction.
And actually, one of them looks just like the other older ones, but it has a Pipe-Mic II label.
I've just sold that last newer looking Pipe-Mic II. I still have 4 of the older-looking ones.
If anyone is interested I can test them on a level rod to see if there is any problem fitting them.
I think they're basically identical, but they just changed the construction of the extension arm slightly.

By the way, I'd be willing to make a trade or partial trade for an old theodolite. Not an electronic one. Actually, the more antique the better.
Mainly something to put on display in my office, but I also want to teach my kids trig with one.
