Good day. I am trying to find a mounting screw for a Wild Theodolite. I am not sure of the name of the part. It's the screw where the EDM is secured onto the theodolite, Please see picture. If you are selling or know someone who is selling this part please let me know. Please indicate price as well. I just need 1 screw or a pair if price is affordable. I already have one mounted on my theodolite. The other one must have gotten loose and fallen off. Does not need to be new.

Like these? The threads seem to be M6x1.

Do you also need the brass "wedge" nut shown at bottom right?

Apparently you are in the Philippines, will have to look in to what is involved with sending something there. Unless you have a friend or relative in the U.S.A. who can forward to you?

Seco in Redding, California was the main manufacturer of such adapters, there may have been others during the heyday of the top-mount EDM.

Glenn

Thank you for the info on SECO. Are you selling the screws or you are referring me to SECO? I am not sure if I need the wedge nut. Does it go under or inside of the theodolite body? Have not opened or plan to open the theodolite. I think the screw can hold onto the body itself without the need for the wedge if the wedge is intended to go under the case. Please let me know the price. I also got another reply from a fb post that I made yesterday so will go with whatever is cheaper.

If the offering you found via Facebook suits your needs I suggest you pursue that option. Thank you.

One would not have to be overly clever to fashion those parts in a home shop from readily available stock and using common shop tools. I'm thinking a drill press, a triangular file, and some aluminum rod stock.
