FS/FT Leica GFU Siemens MC-75 GSM modem
This is a cellular modem (GSM)
in a Leica GFU housing
(snaps in to GPS1200 & related units)
Works fine. Don't need it since I got the bluetooth working to talk
to the Android phone.
What I really need is the Intuicom 900mhz spread spectrum radio in the identical GFU housing. Trade ya straight across.
Also would sell for best offer. I have seen these units range from $500 rock bottom to $1300 new, make an offer.
(As always, will trade for Mauser rifles, single-action revolvers, or off-grid land in the middle of nowhere.)
If you don't mind me asking, how did you get the bluetooth tether to work? We've got several smartrovers (ATX1230GG's with RX1250's) and it seems silly to pay for separate internet access for each one when we all have androids with tethering included in our plan.

I lucked out. Amazingly, it works with the firmware in a SmartStation. Haven't heard that it works with the RX1250 yet.
