Hi,
I bought this new from Hayes, I think, when I was working in Taiwan, its 7 years old, but never been out on site, I put in a new battery last august, from Hayes, and its loaded with whatever it came with.
i just like my 2 hp 48 with cogo pro.so it has never been used, only toyed with,
I didnt need it for my construction work, so i didnt bother even trying to use it, no time.
Surely 500 bucks AUD is good, considering those who actually WANT to upgrade from an hp 48. plus postage from Australia.
it sat in the drawer all these years, i can put the money towards a tablet
Cheers
David

David,

Good luck, looks to be in great shape.

I'd be on this if I had the extra money. Good luck on your next construction job!

Be careful.

Jimmy

I'm interested, and the price sounds fine. Does the literature mention whether it will read data from a Topcon GTS-303? Also, is there download software and if so how does it work? An ASCII output file would be OK. E-mail in my profile is good.

I could really use a good basic data collector for my total station, but can't afford a fancy new one. If the others back out, put me next in line. Full contact information is in my profile. Thanks

Hi all
I have no idea how it works, or what files it uses.
i played with it for about an hour, maybe i had more money than sense at the time, i am sure it was near 3 grand when i bought it though
it is in brand new condition as it sat in its original box all these years

it is in my house in brisbane, i am working up in darwin on a boring telco job, will be home on may 17, 3 weeks from today.

i think $500 plus postage is a fair price for an unused item, the battery alone was about 70 bucks or more.

its loaded with carlson software
my email is [email protected]
cheers to all

Someone is going to get a good unit at an excellent price. I found a link to the manual for this unit. The only potential issue I see is making sure that you can transfer data to and from equipment as old as this. There is likely another Explorer II user on this board who can comment on this.

Wow. I thought this had come up for sale before awhile back. I inquired but it had been sold.
