Anyone have a pair of bantams to part with?
Any particular species, or just any two [little] chickens?
😉

He's not talking about chickens. I think he's looking for a tough field crew.
I know a guy. My rodman. If its a critter, he either already has it or can get it for you. Everything from fuzzy-footed chickens to camels. His son is a big time poultry marketer. The problem is the distance from them to you. But, they can be shipped via US mail.
Since I was part of the thread derail, let me bump it back to the top--I assume the OP is looking for used Bantam bluetooth radios for a robot. Something like this:

;);)
This place would be really dull without a few derails from time to time.

And a Deral, too.
Ol' Jim Petty from Arkiesaw used to call Deral by the name Derail routinely.

Remembering that is what prompted my post.

Here is a pic of a Bantam replacement I made due to my stupidity. You can order the parani SD 1000s online and there are a bunch of directions on this site if you search Bluetooth or parani. The box and battery pack were purchased at Radio Shack

Not the Bantam Radios, but a very similar product by the same guy that developed the bantam radios, and much cheaper than the fieldhawk radios

How difficult is it to upgrade the Trimble Geodimeter from it's stock configuration to one that uses bluetooth and a TSC2 controller?

I kind of know what happened to Deral, but whatever happened to Jim Petty?
Reminds me of the blonde that wanted to grow chickens. She sent away for about 100 chicks from the Blonde chicken company. When she received them she went out to her garden, dug proper holes and planted them head first. Gave them plenty of water. The next morning they were all dead. She scratched her head and thought that she did it wrong so she sent away for another 100. This time she figured she would plant them feet first. Next morning they were also all dead, so she wrote to the company and told them everything she had done. Their response was "can't find anything wrong with your procedure, please send a soil ample"
Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country. Typing class 9th grade!

I saw Jim Petty at the ASPS Conference in April. I saw him from a distance, but did not talk to him.
Last I knew Jim was having some significant health issues that were curtailing his goals somewhat. Hope he found a solution to that problem. He's a great guy. We met up about 15 years ago in Fayetteville to sit around, sip tea and swap war stories.
