The inaugural Survey Summit, cohosted by the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM) and Esri, will take place next summer. This new-generation surveying conference is for surveyors and those in related fields who are interested in geospatial technologies and trends, new workflows, the latest equipment, and networking and business opportunities.

In this free webinar, we’ll discuss why ACSM and Esri’s surveying team decided to combine their annual conferences into one event and how both organizations have designed the Survey Summit to be the ideal forum for getting you up to speed in new surveying concepts, GIS, and other emerging technologies such as lidar and 3D scanning. Join us and find out what you can expect at the 2011 Survey Summit.

Just a bump since this is today. Notice for those attending that the time is Pacific so make sure you apply the right time offset.

It should be interesting and it's certainly of interest to any surveyor plus you can ask questions during the process.

I don't see a time on there anywhere and when looking at their events calendar, it's not there at all!

From what I see, they ought to remove the term "survey" from this summit. This has turned into a GIS thing without even the ability of someone to present at the Survey Summit about true-blue surveying issues that many of us would like to present or listen to. A travesty.
