I'll guess all true, with a little weasel wording.

The tallest mountain if you measure from its base, but not the highest by elevation of the peak.

Interestingly, Newfoundland is even closer to Africa than Maine, which is nearly tied with Cape Cod MA.

Learned last week that a certain volcanic peak in the Azores is one of the highest mountains when measured from the sea floor.?ÿ It seems there is a peak in the Andes that is farther from the center of the Earth than Mount Everest.
