Awesome. I purchasesd a copy of River and Lake Boundaries several years ago. I called, and actually got to speak with Mr. Simpson. He was a really nice man. I asked him what address to send the check to, and he said that I was a registered land surveyor, and that I could send a check when I got the book.
I mailed a check the day it came in the mail. I wish I would have asked him to sign the book. I have two of Walt Robilard's books signed from when he was at the TAPS Conference a few years ago.
The Brown/Pallamary book was in stack of four books that I got for about $30 and the Simpson book was by itself and I paid $55 for it. I also picked up another stack for $20 that had a 2nd edition of the Mullford Boundaries and Landmarks book (soft cover 1977 printing).
There was one guy going around and bumping up the prices on everything (for a good cause), but last year at the auction he took home nearly all of the books and I lost out at the last minute on some good ones. I was eyeballing both of these and watching like a hawk until the table closed.
Good finds Ryan!
