It seems to me you have regained your typing skills and never lost your sense of humor. Good sign. Keep on keeping on buddy, you are an important participant in this Family of Surveyors.
I know from the experiences of relatives that delays are common in hospitals.?ÿ Not sure why they couldn't bring you a pan.
Mom was recovering from surgery and when the doc checked her he said she could drink water again.?ÿ It took several hours for the nurses to get him to put that in the record so they could give her a drink.
Similarly, he later told her she could go home.?ÿ It was 8 hours before she got out.?ÿ In your case, though, I suspect they would work on that task STAT.
Great news. ?ÿGet your brothers on here. ?ÿWe would like to double-check your veracity on a few stories.
@paden-cash thanks for that last post; it brought tears to my eyes...
....Family is good to have.
?ÿ
?ÿ
always.
Thinking of you pal.
Paden~?ÿ That was awesome.?ÿ ?ÿWe all have had the thought of performing that same tasks while waiting in the hospital.?ÿ ?ÿYou give them HELL!?ÿ ?ÿAnd you get better soon.
Best wished Paden, listen to the Docs and take care of yourself!
...Not sure why they couldn't bring you a pan....

Lord knows I tried to use the' pan'....multiple times.?ÿ It just wasn't going to happen.?ÿ I knew if I could get upright with my feet on the ground I could succeed.?ÿ But they wouldn't let me out of bed because of a large catheter stuck in my aorta.?ÿ I finally told them I could endure the catheter.?ÿ It was 2 in the morning and I'm pretty sure?ÿthe nurse had to drive?ÿto the 24 hour Walgreens on the other side of town to find one.?ÿ I did what I needed to do.
I was scolded by the nurse for getting up and told if the tube in my heart came out "I could die".?ÿ I told her "at least I would probably pee" if that happened.?ÿ That's when they 'cuffed' be to the bed.?ÿ
Being a typical surveyor, the discharge point was only an inch or two from the floor, so the "splatter zone" wasn't too bad.
At first, when I called you Uncle Pee, trying to be cute, I actually felt a little bad. ?ÿBut now, after reading your story, I feel a little proud.

This thread started out at TMI and you've certainly kept it there, teasing Paden about his incredibly short legs and all.....
Thus, you are suggesting typical surveyors have very short legs as opposed to the alternate reasoning I had presented.
Different life experience, I suppose. ??ÿ ??ÿ ??ÿ

was just trying to keep it real for a couple of apparently delusional old.... ah, never mind....
Take care of yourself
Whatever anaphylaxis is, it doesn't sound good, sort like your transit standards and telescope after it unexpectedly hit the pavement.

It is an alergic reaction. Think bee sting and epipen. Someone gets stung by a bee they have to inject thems elves with the epipen or they go into anaphalaxic shock.
So he had an a alergic reaction and it sounds like they had to jump start him and perform chest compresses to bring him back.
We Love You, Uncle Paden. Heal up fast and healthy, ASAP. ??ÿ
Hey Paden,
Life tried to throw you a curve ball but you've bounced back smiling.?ÿ Keep up the good work towards a speedy recovery.
