Mine for the month:
pretty
pretty ugly, pretty hot, pretty cold, pretty high, pretty low,,,,,,,,,,,,
I'm finding myself using it and each time wanting to smack myself in the temple.?ÿ
That's pretty bad. (groan)

TRULY AMAZING
Awesome!?ÿ When used to describe something as mundane as eating your standard breakfast cereal for breakfast. "I ate an awesome bowl of Wheaties for breakfast today!"
sorry- i didn't read fully. no self incrimination here- these are words that drive me batty every time i hear them now. much like holy cow's example below.
"gamechanger" might be up there now, too, come to think of it.
"Insane"?ÿ?ÿ I know a guy who uses that as a synonym for "awesome" or "wonderful" frequently, and I've heard it elsewhere, too.
you know, like that is literally pretty insanely awesome.
?ÿ
??Epic?? ?ÿ ?ÿSeems the under 40 group uses this way too often. ????

Anal retentive
Thats crazy
Um
Like, you know, like
Epic
Exactly.?ÿ This is when used as the first word in a sentence responding to what someone else just said.?ÿ The catch is there is nothing involving exactitude in the other persons sentence.
First Person:?ÿ I went to the store yesterday.
Second Person:?ÿ Exactly.?ÿ I should have done that also.
It is used as a filler until the second person can conjure up their true response, but it makes the first person think the second person is agreeable with them in general.?ÿ We have one County Commissioner who starts most of his sentences with "Exactly."
how about the word "literally" - I hear this all the time?ÿ
Kids are always saying something such as "I literally died when he said that"?ÿ
I see that it was used above in a very funny way!
Normally in the office I sit next to a group that is mostly millennials and they're always saying "like" or "like, I know, like"...even on the phone when requesting utility records, "like, do you, you know, like, have any records showing, like, where the utility, like, might, you know, be located?"
Also, I know a guy in IT who uses "ya'll" in his emails... either as a greeting, in closure or both.?ÿ
"Like" and "Ya'll" are both on my list.
Geezers will recall, although some of the memories may be hazy, the days when the most frequently used adjective on the planet was "Groovy".
Everything was groovy.?ÿ Everything.
This led to a little game of trying to outdo your buddy with 'Do you know what's groovy??ÿ No, what?"
One answer being: A tin roof
Another being:?ÿ A corduroy condom
Ya know what I mean??ÿ That being the end of almost every sentence coming out of someone's mouth.
how'd i forget "literally?" i've heard that word used so many times with the LITERAL oppososite of its intended meaning.
like "i was literally staring at God." (not in any way a comment on God, the existence or non-existence thereof, or anyone's belief system, just an example).
"At the end of the day" - not that bad, just overused.
"I'll be honest with you..." implies that the speaker has been lying up to that point. "I'll be frank" is an old phrase that is much more appropriate in its place.?ÿ?ÿ
But this person spells it "ya'll" AND he's a native to Texas...
I was already tired of "abundance of caution" before the pandemic.?ÿ Now it is painful....
?ÿ
"Unprecedented" as well....
