What not to do: when your boss asks how it went this morning and you tell him the highlight was getting Maggie screaming deep in the brush.

Story from when I was about 12.

First day of school.?ÿ New teacher.?ÿ As each student arrives she asks them their name.?ÿ One kid shows up about 10 minutes late. "Who are you and where have you been?"?ÿ I'm Tim Dutton and I've been atop Blueberry Hill.?ÿ Another 10 minutes later, a boy arrives and the process is repeated.?ÿ I'm Hank Thompson and I've been atop Blueberry Hill.?ÿ A few minutes later a girl arrives and the process is repeated.?ÿ I'm Blueberry Hill................

When I was one, I has just begun.

When I was two, I was nearly new.

When I was three, I was barely me.

When I was four, I wasn't much more.

When I was five, I was sort-of alive.

But now I am six,?ÿI'm as clever as clever.

So I think I'll stay six for ever and ever!

Way back about 1944 when my parents moved into the home I grew up in, they had a neighbor a short distance up the road who was a fun-loving sort of character.?ÿ He would have been about 54 in 1944.?ÿ Someone accused him of behaving like a juvenile.?ÿ He explained that he had heard life begins at 40, so that made him a teenager again.

One thing I don't miss being old; sleeping on bathroom floor while trying to keep the crapper from flying off into outer space and one foot on the tub to keep from spinning. ?????ÿ

@flga-2-2 Ahhh, the cool hug of a toilet and the smell my own vomit with wafts of dank urine.?ÿ Man, I'm glad those days are long gone.

I have been known to let my mouth get me in trouble.

25+ years ago when I was first diagnosed as being diabetic.?ÿ I made and appointment with an Endocrinologist.?ÿ The appointment was about 3 months out.?ÿ A week or so before the appointment his office called and said the doctor would be out of town and I needed to reschedule.?ÿ His next appointment was another 3 months and I told them that I needed something before that.?ÿ He said that the doctor does have a Nurse Practitioner, would I mind seeing her.?ÿ "No, I slept with the last Nurse Practitioner I saw", I said.?ÿ There was about 10 seconds of silence.?ÿ "But I am married to her".?ÿ Luckily the Nurse Practitioner and my wife are friends and they both got a kick out of it.

It took me about 20 "comode huggin" experiences before the "learning experience" started to kick in. ?????ÿ

Ah yes, commode huggin'. Forgot about that for a while now. Went to see Jimmy at the 151 speedway years ago and we pitched my tent at campground close by. Rule 1 - no barfing in my tent. So of course one goofball stuck his head out the door and let go. Since we were now trapped in the tent I took his jacket and laid it over his present so we could get out. Pretty sure the jacket found the fire pit.

Reminds me of a Lee Trevino story. He was working in the front yard of his home outside of Dallas when a women stopped in a Cadillac to ask him how much he charged for yard work. He responded "Well, the lady who lives here lets me sleep with her." The women rolled up the window and quickly sped off.
