How far do you have to travel to get to your office?

I have a home office so I don't travel very far. It's closer to get to the 'office' than it is to get to the coffee pot. (I need to fix that little problem. No, I need the exercise.)

+/-17 miles. In the past I've had a job where I lived 80 miles away but I eventually found a residence closer.

John, like you I have to travel farther in the morning to get to the coffee pot than I have to travel to get to the "office". It is perhaps 15 steps to the coffee pot. On the way to and from the coffee pot, I usually pause to check out the view on the way back to the "office". Here's a look at that view as of yesterday. It will be slightly different tomorrow. Maybe fewer clouds, but as far as clouds are concerned, I like these. They remind me of Maynard Dixon's paintings. Around here, sometimes it's hard to stay focused on the job.

About 75'. My office is in a seperate building from the house, but right next door. It is very important for me to have that seperate building so as to have a difference between home and work.

My company office (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday): 34 steps from the bedroom to the office (That's via the 'coffee pot bypass', 39 if I take the 'business' route through the kitchen)

Magazine office (Monday, Wednesday, Friday): 27 miles

Mine is in the basement of my house. Sooo... about 40'±? I have a nice, visible, attractive separate entrance for it. 95% of the time when I leave the "house" for the "Office" I actually get into my work vehicle and drive to my office entry... Especially when I am going to be coming out of there with a hand full of files, batteries, radios, etc. I don't want to lug it up to the shortbus. I'm about to put in a circle driveway for clients and me since the "grass" is mosly dead/non-existent in the front yard anyway.

And no, that dumpster is not there anymore.
You may have to have Bing Maps 3d or "Birds eye view" to see this.
My home/office

It's not the greatest picture, but here's the front of my home office.

About 15 feet from the bedroom, and about the same to the coffee pot.

Wish i had an office to go to 🙁

WV, I don't know how you manage to accomplish anything with that kind of view by your office. Looking out a window is akin to watching tv for me.

24 miles including the "Old Priest Grade" which, if you've ever taken the northern route to Yosemite, you're probably are aware of. It's actually closed right now for installation of guard rails so the route is longer by a few miles using Hwy 120.

Vertically about 10 feet. But since I don't have an elevator next to my bed, I have to take the stairs.

From the office, it's about 10 feet horizontally to the coffee pot.

Home in Stuart. One-way commute to the office in Des Moines is 38 miles.

I am a driver of a Rideshare van. I don't pay to ride the van since I'm the driver, so I save mucho $$$ on gas.

Like Dave Ingram and Foggyidea, I have an office in a seperate building from my house. It is above my garage.

Here is an attempt at bing:
