I haven't been ignoring you guys... I just have been extremely busy with my work and family stuff and everything else in between. :smarty:

I have found out the hard way what people in hospice professions are made of. You are rare people and a positive influence on society. Thanks for the work you do. It an important role and a huge help to the families.

My mother, both of my wife's parents, and a really great cousin all died under hospice care. Angel, you are truly an angel for helping. My hat's off to you.

I would have replied sooner but I have been extremely busy. I was with a patient Sat night until they passed early Sun morning, then I got to hang out at the E/R for a bit and observe. Things get quite interesting in the E/R during that Sat night/early Sun morning time!! :kissing:
Thank you for what you do. Hospice makes last days at least bearable. My father in law passed in an "inpatient" facility. My mother in law was so impressed with them that she had a large yard sale to clear out his years of collecting junk. She made well over $1,000 which immediately donated to the hospice.

I took some time off after my dad died; we're required to take time off after a personal death, usually they want 6 months, but I took 4. I just returned back to my work 2 weeks ago. My nurses wondered where I was! I think they just missed me bringing them their nightly chocolate. 😎
I am also now trained for and working in the PEDS and NICU, taking care of babies. Yes, "those" babies; the sick, the abandoned, the abused, the drug addicted babies. It is NOT easy, but it is by far the most humbling, honorable thing I have done in my entire life. It really puts life into perspective. :heart:
My wife is a PEDS/NICU Nurse. She loves her some babies.
