How are things here?

Everybody still here?

I'm back finally. Took a few years but here I am.

Merry Christmas.

And sorry about before.

Great to hear from you John.
The other day I was eyeballing my Iraq map that hangs on my wall and got to wondering where you've been for so long.
I might go a couple without checking in here so I just figured I'd been missing any posts from you.
Hope you are doing OK.
E.

How are things in West Virginia?

Very glad to hear from you. You have been missed. Hope life has improved over the difficult times you were facing, as I recall.

BTW, you will remember me as Hole Digger on that other site that is now near death.

How are things in West Virginia?

Thanks everyone.

Things are much better. I am living in KY and getting my business back going again in WV. Back with the wife and kids for over a year now.

Did lose my house but it took a lot of stress off me to just get it done and over with.

I live in KY and stay in WV for a week or so at a time. Keeps me busy that way and I can leave the work in WV rather than it being in my face and on my phone 24/7. 😉

Unfortunately I can relate to that very well. After "the server of papers" messed up on twice, that delayed things for about half a year. All told it wore me out for about a year. I guess what I'm saying is once I was told I'm through, ironically the stress lightened up. The guy that bought my place at public auction had gotten to know me somewhat. He let me stay there for several more months with the promise I wouldn't mess things up. Hell, I offered to help remodel it per his instruction. After a few months or so he decided he was ready to start doing something with the something and let me know I needed to think about moving on. He was very nice about it and brought me boxes to pack and boxes of beers to drink. At least I thought that was mighty nice of him.

whatcha doing in KY? Fort Campbell?
I thought you done with your service.
Be well friend.

It is a great joy to read you are back with your wife and kids. I pray that the family life goes well for you. I am here a lot, but don't post but a fraction of what I used to on the old board. If you are ever down toward Chattanooga, give me a call.
