This post is not for P&R discussion it's only informative purposes.

First it was the chits, chaffs or some other coined name, now we have demonstrated we donƒ??t know how to count.

Should have subcontracted the recounts to Land Surveyors.?ÿ ??ÿ

I'm afraid I missed the news on the Florida vote recounts the past couple days. What's the "don't know how to count" issue?

This reminds me of the old motto for a robbery heist being an "equal split", 5 for me and 1 for you.

@peter-lothian

The voting counters can't figure out who the new Governor or Senator is.?ÿ?ÿ ??ÿ

Seems like every dumbass stupid screw up happens in Florida. Oh well it must be too much exposure to the sun too much beer that makes some Floridians (not me, of course) somewhat "off center".?ÿ ??ÿ

A local Alt-Rock radio station here in StL has a running headline in the AM called "Headline Hooshe" (Footnote* St. Louis folks called dumb A$$ rednecks "Hoosiers"). As a Kentucky native I am not surprised when "Man from Kentucky" is the starting line. But I must say, the headlines are easily 3-1 coming from Florida compared to any other state.?ÿ

Here is one from the top of their list:

Naked Florida man revealed on video sneaking into restaurant and munching on ramen ƒ???ÿTampaBay

It started with chicken wings, a beer and a burglar.

It went downhill from there.

A St. Petersburg police officer was investigating a Nov. 6 break-in at The Chattaway restaurant, reviewing surveillance video that shows the burglar devouring a plate of chicken wings and enjoying a beer inside the kitchen. But then the officer stumbled across another incident from the night before.

The video shows a man riding his bike up to the restaurant at 358 22nd Ave S, pedaling around the parking lot for 10 minutes, then slipping in through the back gate. After wandering around for a bit, he opens the door to a shed for storing odds and ends, and removes them one by one.

Then the man gains access to a restaurant bathroom. And exits without his clothes.

He proceeds to sit naked at one of the restaurantƒ??s picnic tables and digs into a meal he brought with him ƒ?? Maruchan Instant Lunch ramen. The video also shows him playing the bongos, also naked.

ƒ??He came in with pants on but he rode off on the bike without pants,ƒ? Chattaway server Chad Pearson said. ƒ??Iƒ??m not sure if he took his pants with him but we didnƒ??t find them. We still donƒ??t know where his pants are.ƒ?

People from Indiana are Hoosiers, unless of course, you're a Boilermaker (<---- i'm one of these).?ÿ However, I wouldn't necessarily disagree with you STL folks that Hoosiers are rednecks.

I agree. Being from KY and a huge U.K. fan it was an adjustment when I moved here. Whatƒ??s even better is when I am in KY and the term slips out. The KY locals look at me in bewilderment.?ÿ

"Seems like every dumbass stupid screw up happens in Florida."

?ÿ

Well now, hang on. It seems like that sometimes, I mean, if there's a story about someone trying to rob a Burger King with an alligator - that's probably Florida. ?ÿ

The craziest headline i've read so far doesn't happen in Florida?ÿ

There's a popular morning show out of Houston called the Walton and Johnson show; they do a fairly regular bit called "Florida Man" in which they regale us with the exploits of some Florida miscreant(s). I don't usually care for the kind of shtick those guys do but they're really good at it.

I still got my chads from the last time I voted in Florida 16 or 18 years ago. Don't know why I kept them.

Broward County Brings In Expert Consultant To Speed Up Ballot Count

?ÿ

FLORIDAƒ??Broward County, which has had trouble meeting its legal deadlines in the counting of ballots, has now brought in a consultant to speed up the recount: counting expert Count von Count.

The Count wasted no time and immediately began counting as soon as he saw the ballots. He picked up one and said, ƒ??One vote for governor, eh eh eh.ƒ?

After that, he picked up a second ballot and said, ƒ??Two votes for governor, eh eh eh.ƒ?

Next, he picked up a third ballot and said, ƒ??Three votes for governor, eh eh eh.ƒ?

ƒ??Wow!ƒ? exclaimed Broward County official Stanley Collier. ƒ??Heƒ??s way faster than us!ƒ?

The Count continued his tabulation and within a minute was in double digits. ƒ??I always get confused once I reach the number nine,ƒ? said Brenda C. Snipes, the Supervisor of Elections for Broward County, ƒ??but he blew right through that.ƒ?

With the help of the Count, Broward County now expects to have an official total sometime in late 2019.
