Flat earther's eclipse

Looks like an old balding "Pacman" with its mouth finally closed. ?????ÿ

My 11 year old got herself up at 0515 this morning and watched the lunar eclipse . Then went back to bed around 0630 because no school as voting was going on. She has been studying the moon all month and doing some STEM project as she goes out every night at the same time to log what the moon looks like etc. I wish I would have brought some equipment home for her and had it set up but she was content looking at everything she has been studying. Always awesome to see them eager to learn. ?ÿ

I ran into a group of flat earth folks once it was not fun. I was doing a gps presentation and the whole center of the earth and orbits didnƒ??t go over very well. ?ÿI did not get good reviews on my presentation. Some where surveyors. Donƒ??t ask how they did not know that the earth was not flat as they truly believed that it is.?ÿ

It is flat. In Oklahoma, Texas, and some plane states. It's not flat in Arkansas. Except at wal mart parking lots!

I presented our new SPC legislation a few years back. One of the Senate committee members asked if I was saying the earth was round. I briefly considered a snide remark. On this rare occasion, I listened to that little voice and dodged it with a thoughtful reply. Good thing because I believe he was as serious as a heart attack...

Hard to believe that Chelsea went the better part of 40 years with our seeing both the sun and the moon in the sky at the same time.
